Basic Flight InstructionWhen you’ve flown your computer all you care to and it’s time to do it for real, Attitude’s professional FAA certified instructors will guide you through FAR Part 61 flight training. What’s Part 61? You’ll learn that during your training! Basic flight training is available in our Cessna 152, 172s, Grumman Yankee, Tiger, Grobs, and Citabrias. Attitude Aviation is one of the few schools that offer spin training as part of the curriculum (if desired). Other schools will just talk about spin entry awareness, but how will you know what to do if it happens to you for real someday? Will you remember some theory or a book lesson learned long ago, or will you react instinctively because you’ve done it before? Come by and interview our instructors, curriculum, and aircraft. You’ll like what you see! Contact us for an appointment.
Instrument Rating InstructionTired of canceling your plans due to a little bit of fog? Take your license to the next level with an Instrument Rating. Many pilots agree that this rating made them much more of a “complete” pilot. Our Cessna 172's are IFR equipped and ready for your training. Livermore is also a fantastic area to do your instrument training because of the ILS approach to the field and all other approach types within close flying distance. You’ll get plenty of radio practice as well in the Bay Area’s variety of airspaces. Instrument Ground SchoolThe next Instrument Ground School begins the first Wednesday in October and will last 10 weeks. Class meets at the Attitude Aviation hangar in the classroom every Wednesday night from 7-9:00pm. The course will be taught using the Jeppesen™ Instrument/Commercial training manual. This manual may be purchased from Attitude Aviation. Please contact us for details Recent promotional: It's going to get cloudy and foggy soon... Get that pesky written exam out of the way with ease and grace by preparing with our Instrument Ground School. Contact us for more details.
